The Name Game
Life as a pregnant mom is quite different than life as a pregnant mom-to-be!! It's more than just decorating a nursery and picking out names! As all of you moms of multiples will atest, being pregnant, working, and being a mom can be tiring! But...I wouldnt' change it for anything!!!
Everything with Sweet Pea is going great! We had our 16 week appointment last week, and his heart rate was excellent and he was very active. He kept kicking the doppler and the nurse was quite amused! We go back on the 31st for another Ultra Sound!!! Can't wait to see how much he's grown.
I think that I've felt a few tumbles, but I always doubt myself when it comes to those first movements! In fact, I believe that he tumbled around just a few mintues ago! I love it!
I read last week that this was a huge growth week for the baby, and I believe it! I had to go buy some shirts this weekend. I've been fighting the maternity wardrobe, but it's getting harder to "hold it in" if you know what I mean!!!
The biggest dilemma now is what to name our son! That's where you guys come in. I'm now taking suggestions for baby names. And I'd love to get feedback on two names that we've been tossing around but can't seem to commit to!
Zachary Isaac (Isaac is Josh's middle name.)
Matthew Micah (Matthew (Matt) is my brother, Micah is Josh's brother)
We also like Conner, Mason, Jacob (Jake).....but we have a hard time thinking outside the box. If you have any feedback, we'd love to hear it! And stay tuned, I have a feeling once we decide on a name I'll be looking to you for help on nursery themes!!!

I love both names Zachary and Matthew. We have four nephews and one of them is Zachary and one is Matthew. I like the name Matthew because it means "Gift from God."
so glad everything is going well with the baby! i was wondering how everything was going.
i love Matthew-my godson's name.
i love Isaac too. other names i like-
Jacob Andrew and call him jake..
(this is what i thought i might name my next child if i ever have a next child)
Will
Michael
Jared
Ben
I also like the first two names the best...
Names are SO much fun!!! We have a boy named picked out if we have another boy, and we are going back and forth with girl names! At least we have a while! I am no where near ready for another one!!! Zachary Isaac is very nice!!! We could call him ZIP! Just kidding. I might should've kept that one to myself! I think I like Micah Matthew better than Matthew Michah. I might have to sleep on which one I like better! Good luck girl! You and Josh should decide! This is your precious little creation!!!
I really like Zachary Isaac and I have always loved the name Micah for a boy...maybe Micah Matthew?
I am all for Zachary Isaac. That way his name honors his Daddy! But all are cute and he will be adored no matter you guys decide. But I think that it is a great possibility that we can get Livi to say Zac before he gets here!
dang- how weird is this? i had a dream last nite that you named him Mason. i really did. weird, i know. see, i am blogging in my dreams. i think i need help, like an intervention. hehe.:)
Thanks for all of your suggestions, guys! And Katie!!! Lay off the cold medication!! It's making you dilusional. J/K :o)
Names were hard for us too. I agree with Mel about honoring his daddy with the name. Good to know that everything is going well for you.
I like all the names, but I think Zachary Isaac's my favorite. A few years back, Andy and I were playing the baby name game and we decided on Jacob Spencer (Spencer after Andy's middle name). Then we found out it was the #1 name on the most popular baby names list. That was probably 4 years ago, and it's still on the top. I adore the name, but decided we didn't want our kid to be one of 10 Jake's in his class. Not that I actually have a kid or need to worry about picking out names any time soon :) Anyway, check out this link sometime -- it's got all the most popular baby names: http://www.babiesonline.com/pregnancy/babynames/MostPopular/2005.asp. FYI, Zachary's not on there, so it's an original!
If you want "outside the box" my great grandfather's name was Stiles. :-)
But I agree with the majority- Zachary Isaac. :-)
