We're Counting Down

Only 234 more days to go, and thanks to Andrea I have a ticker up and running. As you can see, however, I'm not very good at interpreting "code", thus the off centered ticker that you can barely read.

If anyone has any advice on how to lower and center this ticker, I'd love you forever!!! Come on Katie, didn't you say that you taught Andrea everything she knows.

Our Tiny Little Pea...or as he's called now - a Pole!

Well, here he is!! The doctor's found what they were looking for - the Fetal Pole.
Josh and I were very pleased to see this tiny little "pole" on our ultra sound this morning. We learned that they call the fetus a Fetal Pole because the baby hasn't yet developed arms or legs! The ultra sound measured me at 5 weeks, 5 days, which is 2 days off from my LMP. They aren't concerned about that at all. In fact, I don't have to go back for another 2 weeks, at which point we'll have another ultra sound and hopefully he'll have a recognizable heartbeat (and arms).

Our doctor is being cautious but optimistic. I think that everything will be fine, but appreciate him paying close attention to the details. One thing's for sure, we wouldnt' have gotten through this last week without each of your prayers, well wishes, and encouragment. God has truly been at work here, and we're faithful that everything will be fine.

Again, thanks to everyone for the prayers and encouragement. We love you all dearly! We couldn't ask for better freinds!

Good News

Well, I just heard from my O.B. and it looks like my levels are increasing. My hcg levels are now at 5894, which means that they didn't double the way that they had wanted them to, but she said that it didn't necessarily mean that something's wrong.

My progesterone level went from 8 to 15, which is now within the range. They really want it to be higher than 15, but again, she said that it didn't mean that something was wrong.

Josh and I will go in tomorrow for our ultra sound, so keep praying for us. We're feeling all of them each day. God is definitely at work here! I'll update everyone as soon as we know something!

Love and blessings,

Josh, Bethany, and Olivia

More Tests

Well, tomorrow we go in for more tests. I've been taking my progesterone faithfully, and I've started to have some slight pregnancy symptoms. I'm praying that this is a good sign.

Josh and I find comfort in your comments, thoughts and prayers. We really appreciate everyone who's praying for us right now. We've put it in God's hands, and have faith that His plan for our family will lead us through this time.

Tomorrow's more blood work, and then if that produces good results - Ultra Sound on Wednesday!!! I'll keep you all posted. Thanks for checking in on Sweet Pea's blog!!!

Love you all!!

Prayers for Sweet Pea

Blogger Friends,

Josh, Olivia, and I ask that you keep our newest Sweat Pea in your prayers. I had an appointment on Wednesday, and my hcg and progesterone levels are both low. I'm currently taking a progesterone suppliment, but there is a possibility that this is not a "healthy" pregnancy. We go back to the doctor on Monday to check the levels again, so we would really appreciate your prayers as we put this in God's loving hands. I appreciate everyone's kind words. Each comment has brought smiles to Josh and I each time we check the blog. You're all wonderful friends, and we're blessed to have you all.

We'll update everyone next week.

Another Sweet Pea on the Way

Four weeks and four days along, and we've only got 35 more weeks to go!! I have a feeling that this pregnancy will just fly by since our eldest Pea has already outgrown her pod. I thought that I'd wait to start this blog after our first appointment, but I'm just too excited to hold back.

Mommy, Daddy, and Olivia love you New Baby!! And we're praying that you grow and develop as you should. Can't wait to see your first picture. Only 3 more weeks!!!
